How Dropshipping Works

This is how dropshipping works: the customer places an order in your Shopify or Woocommerce store and pays you the X amount. After that, you will need to purchase that product for the Y amount from the supplier, and they will ship the item directly to your customer.  Your Profit is equal to = X - Y. INSTALLING SPOCKET:

SETTINGS:

Next, you might want to go over your settings: adding your store URL, setting up a global mark-up (optional), adding your credit card would help Spocket function smoothly!

IMPORTING PRODUCTS:

Spocket allows you to add thousands of great products to your store easily. Just click on the ‘Add to Import’ button that is present on the product card. This article will help you find and add products to your store: Finding Products.

CUSTOMIZING PRODUCTS: 

The products will have default titles and descriptions, and a suggested retail price. However, you can entirely customize all of these details to suit your store. We recommend shaking up the prices with regards to your target market and requirements. This video will guide you:

SETTING UP SHIPPING:

You will need to set up a shipping rate on Shopify to ensure that you are not undercharging your customers. To understand the different types of rates that you can implement for your store, check out this article: Setting up shipping costs

PROCESSING ORDERS:

Once you receive an order from a customer, you will have to head to the Orders page of the Spocket app and place the order for the supplier. This quick one-step process will allow you to check the order and send any notes, if required, to the supplier. 

The supplier will process your order and ship it out to your customer- and that is it!

SENDING NOTIFICATIONS TO CUSTOMERS ABOUT ORDERS:

While we do not send your customers any messages directly, customers are automatically informed of the shipped orders through Shopify. Here is how you can enable the notifications:
