How do I change my currency on Spocket?

Learn how to configure your currency settings

When you are searching for products through Spocket, all prices are listed in USD. Once you have found products you like and have added them to your import list, Spocket will convert the USD price to your store's base currency.

Shopify entrepreneurs


To change your base currency in Shopify, you need to do it through Shopify payments. If you find your currency is greyed out in Shopify settings, you need to:

  1. Deactivate Shopify Payments.

  2. Change your currency.

  3. Reactivate Shopify Payments.

  4. Save your changes.

BigCommerce entrepreneurs


To change your base currency in BigCommerce, you need to do it through your BigCommerce store setup settings.

  1. Go to Store Setup › Currencies, then click Add currency.

  2. Select the currency code that corresponds to the currency you want to set up, then click Next.

  3. Configure your currency’s display and transactional settings.

  4. Save your changes

WooCommerce entrepreneurs


To change your base currency in WooCommerce, you need to do it through your WooCommerce store setup settings.

  1. To change your shop currency settings, go to WooCommerce > Settings > General > Currency Options.

  2. Select your desired currency from the Currency drop-down.

  3. Save your changes.

Wix entrepreneurs


To change your base currency in Wix, you need to do it through your Wix dashboard settings.

  1. Go to Language & Region tab in your site's dashboard.

  2. Scroll down to the Site Currency section.

  3. Select a currency from the drop-down.

  4. Save your changes.

Squarespace entrepreneurs


To change your base currency in Squarespace, you need to do it through your Payments settings.

  1. If you haven't already, connect a payment processor. You can connect a Stripe account, a PayPal Business account, or both.

  2. In the Home menu, click Commerce, and then click Payments.

  3. Click Store Currency.

  4. Select an available currency from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Save.

Ecwid entrepreneurs


To change your base currency in Ecwid, you need to change it in your Store Admin.

  1. In your Ecwid admin, go to the Settings → General, Regional Settings tab.

  2. Choose your store currency in the Currency drop-down menu.

  3. Choose the display format for the prices in this currency (it will not affect input fields for prices in your Ecwid admin):

  4. If you use a non-USD currency, you can specify the conversion rate in case a payment gateway you want to use accepts dollars only or if a shipping service connected to your store doesn't accept your currency but works with USD. Ecwid will use the entered rate to convert the order total into dollars and send the request to a payment system or, in case of shipping, it will show the correct actual shipping rate in your store's currency so that your shipping costs coincide with the shipping prices in your store. Example:

  5. Choose if the currency symbol should be displayed before (prefix) or after the price (suffix).

  6. Enable or disable the Hide trailing zeros in fractional part option for prices in your store.

  7. Save the changes.

Square entrepreneurs


To change your base currency in Square, you need to set up a new account. If you decide to create a new account, you’ll always be able to log in to your old account if you don’t disable it. But if may be helpful for record-keeping purposes to download your transaction history from your previous account. Once you’ve downloaded your previous account information, follow these steps to set up a new account:

  1. Sign out of the Square Point of Sale app on your device. If you have trouble, learn how to sign out here.

  2. Click Create Account > enter your information > select your preferred country. Note: You will not be able to reuse an email that’s already been used to create a Square account.

  3. Finish setting up your account.
